I immediately started weighing them up, like one was more important than the other; better, more valuable, more productive, more creative, more sexy. An ant has a very narrow waist, but bees can really rock a stripe! Obviously I explored the symbolism of these ‘spirit’ animals and looked at real word stuff. I’m not going to tell you the woo woo, you also have google. 🙂 But this is what I thought about:
Ants form colonies that range in size from a small natural cavities to highly organised colonies that may occupy large territories and consist of millions of individuals. I want to belong to a community. Larger colonies consist of various castes, most of which are workers, as well as soldiers and other specialised groups. I don’t want to segregated into a caste system. We know all about that, don’t we? But I do want to be a specialist! Ants appear to operate as a unified entity, collectively working together to support the colony. I love how they support and help each other. Ant societies have division of labour, communication between individuals, and an ability to solve complex problems. I love solving complex problems, it literally keeps me up at night! Am I an Ant?
Bee’s are so valuable and scarce right now: I want to be valuable and scarce. Bee’s have the concept of royalty built into them: I am the Divine incarnate. So are you. They have feminine leadership and sisterhoods and no one is weird about it. I want to lead without having to make anyone feel okay about it and have my bitches do it with me, cos we are badass, compassionate and wise! Bees are productive AND creative. They don’t just make shit, they make COOL shit… Am I Bee?
As we face level four, decisions are being made about jobs and livelihoods being essential (more important) than other people’s. You are going to have days (if you haven’t yet?!) where your self-worth and inherent value as a human being will be questioned. I am here to remind you today: YOU ARE IMPORTANT AND YOUR CHOICES MATTER. Good people, your decisions have never mattered more. We are in the Global Training Exercise where the object lesson is: Cause and Effect. Your decisions have never more obviously impacted those around you: Stay Home and Keep Everyone Safe.
Let me tell you a not so well kept secret. Your decisions have ALWAYS affected entire systems and communities. We are both powerless and powerful at the same time: The Human Condition. We determine consumerism – WE are manipulated and controlled to “decide” what we want. I’m not even wandering into conspiracy theory territory here. This is good old fashioned advertising and the media. Good people, at the risk of sounding crass, we piss our power away with mindlessness. We set the black market by buying stolen/grey goods. We contribute to fast fashion by buying stuff we don’t need for next to nothing. We are consumers in human trafficking and slave labour – chocolate and coffee, my dears. I mean I don’t want to upset you (wait maybe I do). Every decision we make has a spiritual and energetic consequence. Covid19 is an opportunity to wake up and participate appropriately. Will You?
Spirit reminded me of the actual question: Are you an Ant or Bee? Which are you? Not which one is better? There isn’t a right or a wrong, and no one is actually more important than anyone else. Really. What do you NEED to be right now. The most important part here is that you take part and CHOOSE FOR YOURSELF. Ant or Bee?
Coming out of level 5, what have you learned about yourself? What have you learned about your capacity? About your kindness? About your rhythms or lack there of? Is something dying so that something else can live? What is it? Have you had it up to here with over-analysis and super-spiritualising everything? 🙂 I get it.
As we slowly (very slowly probably) begin to move among each other in the physical world again think about your power to change what it looks like, even if it’s a small change. No one is expecting you to run for president or end human trafficking but can you make a small decision today that empowers you? NO PRESSURE. For reals. Little by little, day by day. Easy does it.
Stay centered, breath and do yoga.
